Dear Parents and Students:
On Friday, November 13th, Centennial band students will travel by bus to the Indianapolis Convention Center for a leadership workshop with Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser. All students who are interested in any form of leadership should bring a check for $30 payable to Centennial Bands this Monday, November 2nd. Please see the attached information.
Itinerary: (There is a change in time zones from Central to Eastern)
1:00PM Students will load the bus or buses at Centennial
4:00PM Arrive at the Indianapolis Convention Center
5 – 7PM Leadership Session, hundreds of band students from the Midwest
7:30 – 10 Dinner and free time at the Circle Centre Mall near the Convention Center
10PM Load bus or busses to return to Centennial
11:15PM Arrive at Centennial
Please sign and return the attached permission slip with a check for $30 payable to Centennial Bands.
_____________________ has my permission to travel to Indianapolis by bus to the Tim Lautzenheiser Student Leadership Workshop on Friday, November 13th.
I understand that all school rules apply and students are responsible for any make-up work in advance of their absence on the afternoon of the 13th. I understand that the school will provide transportation and chaperones, but the cost of the workshop and the cost of dinner and snacks will not be provided by the school.
