Hey all,

Doing some cleanup in the apps repository, I am going to remove Blink and these packages that it depends on. Obviously am only removing packages that are not needed by any other package.

If you have an objection or would like to request a package to remain available, please speak now, or forever hold your silence! =D

Package list:

 Blink
   python-sipsimple
      python-sipclients
      python-gnutls
      python-application
      python-eventlet
       python-greenlet
         pypy
      python-backports
      python-cjson
python-cython> already provided by python2-c, which will move to platform and broken into cython2 and cython3 (in one pkgbuild)
      python-msrplib
      python-xcaplib

Cheers,
Neo

No exception at all to the move, except for the fact that I can't see what pypy has to do with Blink & co. :P

I'd keep PyPy, which is a nice alternative to the standard CPython implementation, into the repos.

Well actually I wrote "no exception at all to the move" because I was thinking you wanted to move that stuff into CCR, but well, let's just delete it and be done with it.

I listed them in the dependency order, so you can see the connection from pypy to blink. =)

If no one responds by tomorrow I will go ahead and delete everything then, and probably move pypy to CCR as orphan.

Yes, pypy needs python-greenlet, according to the PKGBUILD, but I'd keep it because:

1) it's a nice alternative to CPython.
2) it requires too much computational power to build it, so I'd say that moving it to CCR is unfeasible (few people could actually benefit from that).

In this case, I vote for moving python-greenlet (maybe making so that it's a split PKGBUILD providing both python2-greenlet and python3-greenlet, if supported), and keeping pypy around.

OK, everything Blink related was removed except these:
- pypy I left in platform
- python-greenlet is added to platform as python2-greenlet and python3-greenlet in a single PKGBUILD. Will remove the replaced python-greenlet package once the others move into stable.
- python2-c > am waiting for a response from Andrian before adding that to platform in a single PKGBUILD as python2-cython and python3-cython. Will update the relative thread once it's done.
