you'll find that quite a bit of rails code can be ported into wheels
with very little effort and this goes mostly for plugins as well. As
much as you'll think this is a cop out answer, i would just start
porting and see where it takes you. i'm sure that there will be
something that the plugin requires that isn't in wheels and at that
point you ALWAYS have the option of creating the feature and
submitting a pull request to us.
on a personal note, i would really like to see more of the rails
plugins ported over to wheels.
