ckfinder permissions issue on CF 6 site

Hi All,

 

I’m trying to integrate ckfinder into ckeditor on a linux CF 6.1 web site I’m hoping someone can help me with.  I am not at all familiar with CF on linux.  I have had the permissions modified on the upload destination folders, so they should be ok, but I am getting the following error:

 

access denied (java.io.FilePermission /wwwadm/Gentoo/coldfusionmx/runtime/servers/default/SERVER-INF/temp/wwwroot-tmp/myimage.gif write)

 

So this looks like a permissions issue on the temp directory that CF uploads files to before the final destination.  I don't have access to the ColdFusion administrator (or to change permissions).  What exactly do I need to request the host to modify to fix this issue?

Kristin,

You should ask the host to ensure two things:

1) The ColdFusion user has permission to write and create files in this directory

2) If ColdFusion Sandbox Security is enabled, that your sandbox is given permission to write to this directory.

My guess is that #2 is the issue.
