Wondering if anyone has info on the subversion repo? I found two links
to repos in another post, one on google code, the other on the
macromates site and neither appeared to have snippets for CF8 stuff.
Is this correct?

I have modified my bundle to fix up some nagging issues in the release
version such as removing all of the spaces in front and behind the "="
of all of the tag attributes.

I would be happy to give you guys the snippets to update the repo if
you want them, just let me know.

I have also started adding the snippets for some of the CF8 tags that
I use the most as well if you are interested in those.

Russ,

I'm trying to put together a decent composite CF bundle as well.
There seem to be multiple bundles out there that get us part way - I'm
hoping to merge them. Would you be willing to email me your bundle
and I'll see if I can integrate it also?

Absolutely.. I think what we need to do is create the most up-to-date
bundle version and get it up for download. That would probably help
increase the user base a little. Not having an updated release for
download is a deterrent for most I would imagine.

Im not sure who if anyone is still maintaining it "officially" but it
would be cool to be able to update the website a bit every once and a
while as well. Just to keep folks abreast of progress who may not want
to join the google group.

I thought about just forking it and maintaining it on my repo and from
my blog at angry-fly.com since Im aggregated by quite a few of the CF
aggregator sites and I have a pretty decent readership. But I would
love to just be able to maintain the "official" version..

Let me get my changes into a releasable format instead of just the
deltas and I will post them to the group.

I've also got tag help (click tag, hit key for help on that tag) in my bundle, i need to figure out how to get it so that its pretty simple to either switch between a local copy or the livedocs.

Been meaning to get it checked into SVN for the repo... life keeps getting in the way. I'll look at it next week though.

Hi guys,

What's the status then? Where is the repo? I checked here a couple
months ago for CF8 snippets after doing a google search. I've found
myself doing more CF8 development lately instead of just CF7 and the
new snippets would really help. I agree that the user base suffers
from the lack of CF support on textmate. I've tried all sorts of IDE's
and though I'm not completely happy with textmate it's the IDE that
has most of the features I frequently use. I also like some of the
features that are unique to it such as hitting esc to cycle through
variable names used throughout your doc as well as snippet insertion
using the tab key. Would really love to get my hands on some CF8
snippets though... ?

Also while I'm at it, I figure this is not possible but I'll ask
anyway. The one feature I miss from Homesite and Dreamweaver that I'm
trying to live without but with little success is function insight.
You know where once you type let's say cfquery and then hit space it
shows you the available attributes for that tag. While using
textmate's code completion by hitting tab after typing the tag name
kind of helps it's just not the same really. Do any of you have any
alternatives you're using?

I will typically duplicate a tag like that and create a "short" version or the like... ie: cffunction, I never use all the options so I set it up to my own coding style.

It's not a biggie, I just like the way DW does it so that as you type you can see the attributes for the tag or arguments for the function but I don't think I lose much doing it the textmate way. Thanks.
