Figured it out...how I missed this for the last two days, I have no
clue.

In the MYSQL_KALENDAR.txt file, the two table names are all lower
case. The queries are looking for mixed-case table names (i.e.
tblKalendar instead of tblkalendar). Even after I made that change,
when I used the *import* function to create the tables, they were

I've successfully installed Kalendar on my local machine installed and
can use all functions (CF8 Developer Edition). I've now uploaded to
the live server (also CF8). I've created the MySql database and can
view both tables and their structure via phpMyAdmin. I've changed the

Thanks Mike! That would explain why I couldn't duplicate the error, I
always use the MySQL driver from the MySQL site.

How can the admin user identify New Events needing to be Published?

I do not find anyway to easily show the administrator which events are
pending publishing. Is there a way to flag or highlight unpublished
events on the admin version of the Calendar?

Hi Mike, that URL comes up blank. Could you repost it for me? I'd like
to take a look and determine if there's something we can include in
Kalendar to help resolve the problem, even if it's just a
documentation blurb.

Hey Wally,

You could definitely do it, and there are a few approaches. One thing
I might do is add an icon field to the category table and create new
fields in the category module to allow them to add an icon to a
category (via upload). then change the custom tag to display the icons
if they exist.

Is it possible to display an ICON next to the text for a calendar
event in the Kalendar grid? My user wants to flag events of a
specific category with a special ICON. Any suggestions?

Can I use the FCKEditor to do that?

SteveO, possibly. I will have to setup that specific version and test
this week. Curious, I wonder if MySQL made some changes to datatypes

Im guessing this is a javascript caching issue. Try clearing your
browser's cache, or test it on another machine to verify
