Subject: form post produces empty FORM struct in BD
hi there

i have installed bluedragon and jetty 6 on mac os x - i previously set
it running on jetty 5 following the coldfusion anywhere article in the
CFDJ, but couldn't get some AJAX parts of the site to work on jetty
5... reading that jetty 6 had continuations for AJAX i set about
installing that

both jetty 6 and bluedragon are running ok, serving coldfusion files
and so on, but when a form is submitted the FORM struct is empty except
for the "FIELDNAMES" column which exists but is itself empty - this is
not only apparent in my site files, but much of the admin section of
blue dragon is failing due to this

i put a short JSP page in the folder to test the 'request' object and
the form input is reaching that ok, it is the CF server that is losing
them

using params on the query string populates the URL struct ok

form posting was ok in BD on jetty 5

anyone had this problem before?

this may be relevant or not but when installing the BD files into the
jetty 6 directory structure i had to merge the two WEB-INF/web.xml
files, as unlike jetty 5 jetty 6 has its own web.xml file in the same
place as BD has its one

thanks

best regards

howard

I haven't tried Jetty 6 myself so I can't comment. I understand it's beta
though so perhaps that's a bug.

hi phil

thanks for the reply

yeah, seems that jetty 6 is still beta

have you had, or heard of, any problems getting AJAX apps to run on
jetty 5?

that was my initial problem, and why i moved from jetty 5 to jetty 6

thanks again for the reply
