I recently upgraded to CFEclipse version 1.4.5.201102180947 and I've
noticed that the parsing is noticeably slower.
It's definitely slower all around and sometimes on large/complex cfc
or cfm files, as I'm typing there is a long pause before the
characters appear.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Any idea why that might be happening?

Thanks.

Thankfully, I'm no longer dealing with gargantuan cfm files. I haven't noticed anything with the reasonable sized ones.
However, ok, nothing to do with cfeclipse, but anyway, I'm editing one of those javascript files where all the code is
on one line. It's really slow.

I'm editing a 778 line file as we speak and the delay is close to 1
second per keystroke.
Not gargantuan by any means! The delay seems to only occur in certain
parts of the file - like if I'm editing a closing cfscript tag.
That indicates to me some kind of parsing anomaly...

Same here. We however have no cfscript tags.
The 1/2 sec delay for each keystroke is so annoying.

I noticed it seems to happen a lot when editing html tags...

On certain files the slowness is so bad that the editor becomes
unusable.
Does anyone have an idea on when this might be fixed?
Now I'm looking into downgrading CFEclipse to the previous version.
