Hi -
I need a CF8 STD upgrade license ASAP (today) - will call and pay by
credit card (Amex). If anyone can help, please let me know off-list.

And, could someone from Adobe, PLEASE, fix that exchange rate thing on
the Adobe web site. I don't know how they could legally charge $1055
AUD compared to $649 USD for the same downloaded upgrade thing.

Thank you!

If you need it urgently just run the eval version till you can pay for it.
Its fully functional for 30 days which is plenty of time to organise a
license and enter it into the system.

Just install the fresh copy of CF8 and when you have your new upgrade
license, enter it and it will ask you for your previous cf license and away
you go.

hey Steve,

that 30-day eval copy is the Enterprise version, innit?

I don't want to start a useless discussion about evaluation license
etc etc. I just need to find someone who can sell me a proper license
today.

Thanks.

It's a non restricted license so yes its ENT. The license you enter into
the admin dictates what the licensed version actually is so if you enter a
STD serial number it runs as a STD version.

Its not a useless discussion. It's a valid one. Considering its afternoon
now I would imagine you are going to be hard pressed to find someone who
will be able to do it "right now". Honestly you will be looking at paying
for it now but getting the serial number tomorrow so if you need something
installed right now and ready to go then use the eval license and plug in
your actual licenses tomorrow. Other wise buy it online and choose to
download the software for $955 AUD. I am pretty sure you get the serial
number emailed to you or you get it from online.

Regardless, you are in a spot so you will either have to bite the bullet and
buy it online or use the eval version and shop around and find someone to
buy it off. If you are looking for someone, try webqem in sydney

It IS useless in a way that everyone on this list DO know that there
is an option to use the Eval license for 30 days.

Ok thanks - I actually missed the "Download" option there.

I brought the eval thing up as an option because from my experience
purchasing software from vendors you don't get the product same day unless
you buy it off the shelf.

See what webqem can do. Maybe they can fort out a serial number for you
quicker.
