Why just graduates?

Experienced teachers should have an input here.

"will lead to Microsoft providing resources and materials for teacher
professional development in ICT."

That's a really scary thought. Teacher professional development is about
pedagogy and learner engagement - not about the skill levels of teachers
using business software. I'm getting a shiver reminiscent of the time NCTE
was considering including MS Office in mainstream teacher professional
development in the old days.

I'm reserving final judgement until I see more, but early impressions
suggest that this is opportune PR for DES & Microsoft, it seems naieve in
relation to what inexperienced software/content development graduates can
do, it has no specific outcomes in terms of learning material to be created
and in general and perhaps most importantly, it lacks any consultation with
educators on the ground.

Kindest Regards,
Seaghan.
