it was great to see you all at the CESI conference today.
You may have noticed 4 x16 years old walking around the conference
today with a cameras and interviewing everybody. They are 5th year
boys from Clonkeen College Dublin, who had no experience using digital
media equipment and software.
After a 15 minute "tutorial" they we tasked with capturing the event
of the day, all direction and decisions were made by themselves.
Here is the official TV Channel from www.fis.ie

Thanks again from all the team at FíS
Is that short video that was part of the presentation (the IADT one),
available publicly. I would like to show it to staff in the school.
All of the videos I used in the presentation are on EuroCreator.
The opening video is here:
http://www.eurocreator.com/channels/?channelId=83&vid=2104
The second video of the students speaking about what they think
classrooms of the future will look like is here:
http://www.eurocreator.com/channels/?channelId=83&vid=2106
The FIS Bookclub video is here:
http://www.eurocreator.com/channels/?channelId=83&vid=2035
and the example of the south african tv channel is here:

I think that is them all :)
If you go into the "view section" of the website and actually search
for the videos - the view section is a little bit different to the tv
section - In "view" when you search for these videos and click on
them- it will actually allow you to embed any of these videos on to
your own web site or indeed download them for your own personal use in
PowerPoint Presentations etc.
Hope its of some use
Ciaran
If you did - it was excellant by the way - would it be possible to get
a copy of the opening presentation/video you presented with all the
facts about how certain media have reached targeted audiences...
radio, tv all the way to Twitter. etc. I thought that that web 2.0
theme of the video was great and the video would be brilliant to show
to my students and fellow teachers.
Cheers!
