ECDL for Schools

Hi all,

 

Has anyone tried ECDL for Schools? Currently looking at 4^th Year learning options and found this on a Google search. Are there other training options available?

Not sure if you are looking for other ECDL training options or options other than ECDL training.

Yes very suitable for transition year students.

Like ECDL, there are a number of modules. Students would normally do 4 modules to get a cert.

The applications used to complete the modules are installed on the local machine. All course notes and resources are accessed online through a Moodle site and each student has a username and password. The assignments are submitted for assessment within the Moodle environment and assessment is done by outside assessors.

Ben here, we use Digital Creator in school and it is a brilliant course particularly for fourth years as it taps into multi media, sound, video animation and photography.  Give the website a good look and if you need more info let me know

I`m sorry I am coming late to this conversation but I have just discovered that we can no longer use third force in TY for ecdl, I want them to get the ecdl cert so do I have to go through the ICS now.
