scratch course for teachers

Hi 

I would like to do a f2f scratch course this summer but I have come across only one on the DES summer booklet, namely Using Scratch to Develop Numeracy. 

 

Is anyone aware of another one? (not online)

Hi Edward,

I am tutor on that course in DWEC.

Although its focused on numeracy it will give you all the skills needed to use scratch.

The course I am giving is in Dublin West Education centre and is specifically for primary teachers.

It's the second week in July.

Thanks Stephen,

I saw the emphasis on numeracy at primary level. I am hoping to teach a 8-10 hour course on scratch with 3rd/4th years (secondary) next year. But as you say, it would give me the necessary skills to use scratch.
