(1) The U.N. Peace Essay Contest, Sunday October 26 at 4pm at North
Broadway United Methodist Church. Volunteers are needed for the
reception:

(a) to bring in food and food donations
(b) to set up the food
(c) to clean up afterward

Tent of Hope

The "Winter Soldier" screening will be held in the Shelter House at Comfest on Saturday June 28, 2008, at 8:00PM. Speakers (tba) from IVAW will be present before and after the screening.

Our meeting schedule has been updated!

Tonight, learn about the war tax resistance movement and the Peace Tax
Fund Bill currently in Congress.

Then go to ComFest and visit our booth! Even better, be a ComFest
volunteer and donate your time on behalf of Central Ohioans for Peace.
Next Monday, we'll evaluate ComFest and have an Open Board Meeting.
