This week at CPB, we will be taking a break from our discussion of
Japanese Zen Buddhism to look at relationships, and specifically, what
Pragmatic Buddhism has to teach us about creating and maintaining
healthy relationships with others.
Often we feel quite confident about our ability to build and manage
our connections with others. However, it is also frequently the case
that relationships fail or fall out of focus. Why is this and can it
be avoided? What kinds of relationships are there in Buddhism, and
what does the Buddhist worldview have to offer us today so that we
might embrace the very best of our interconnectivity with others?
These are the questions we will ask and answer this week at practice.
Please join me and the rest of the group for meditation and discussion
at First Unitarian this Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
See you then,
Jim
