Word crash loading Ceno doc ...

We're trying to create a CenoPDF doc in Word.
Increasingly, Word would crash on each save.

Now, we cannot open the Word doc; the error below displays.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Jim,

I am sorry for this hassle. Let's use this newsgroup for future
communications.

Basically we saw some unstability with Word 2000. Some customers experienced
crashing when copying and pasting CenoPDF fields. Did you do that also? If
this is the main cause of crashing, there are a couple ways to work around
it as follows:

1. You can always add a new field, then use multiple selection to update
properties of many fields all at once.
2. You can use CenoPDF > Options > Defaults to set the default properties
for newly added fields.

Also one important thing to reduce the chances of crashing is to install the
latest Office service pack. Can you go to Word menu Help > About to see what
version/service pack is installed?

Jim,

Thanks for the document. I am able to reproduce the crash while opening it
in Word 2000. However, I have no problem to open it and create PDF in Word
2003 and 2007. I also noticed that if I save it from Word 2007, the problem
is fixed then opening it in Word 2000 won't crash again. I assume this is a
bug in Word 2000.
