In the properties window, there is the "Top" value.

It doesn't appear to have any relationship to the top edge of the
page, the first entry on the page has a top of 5.3, and the entry down
about 1/2 inch has a top of .75. The next one just below that has a
top of 13.65.

What does top mean??

Hello Chuck,

Thanks for the order. We appreciate it.

That property window comes from Word. In your case, the position is
related to the "Anchor", usually is the beginning of a paragraph. If
you know two of your fields share the same anchor position, then you
can use the Top property to align their horizontal position.

Thanks,

thanks for the info.  It look confusing when first viewed.  I had a field that was causing an error, and following the error message, I found the location to set where the controls are measured from.

that helps in setting things up.
