Hi,

I've discovered a huge bug in CenoPDF.

I had to reinstall CenoPDF.

And, it displayed the dialogue entitled
"misleading_cenopdf_dialogue.png" (the initial dialogue box that tells
you to install the "save as .pdf" plugin when you first run Microsoft
Word).

However, if you install the "Save as pdf" plugin, nothing will work,
as you absolutely have to use the "Export to PDF" from the CenoPDF
dialogue box for any exported .pdf to work. Otherwise, you can't even
type anything into the dialogue boxes, they are read only - and it
doesn't show the red "this is shareware" notice at the bottom of each
.pdf.

If you use "File .. Save As ... pdf", it just won't work.

I'd suggest that you replace this dialogue box with a dialogue box
saying to use the CenoPDF export, under the CenoPDF menu, rather than
any other method.

I'm glad that I wasn't going crazy - because I was sure I'd followed
the instructions properly the first time!

This is a documentation issue rather than a bug.

First of all, the *only* way to make CenoPDF work is to use its
command CenoPDF > Export to PDF.
If you follow the walkthrough, you should have noticed this:
http://www.lystech.com/walkthrough.aspx

Second, CenoPDF allows users to choose PDF engine in order to get
different options to control the final PDF file. Please see the
following links:
http://www.lystech.com/webhelp/Content/pdf-engine.htm
http://www.lystech.com/webhelp/Content/options.htm

They are all in the online help and answered your question about how
"Save As PDF plug-in" is used. I would highly recommend you to go
through the online help, either the one in our web site or the one
installed in your local computer in order to get better idea about how
the software works.
