Ubunty Quickly is a very quick way of creating native apps on Ubuntu. Can CEFPython be used to embed chromium into a Ubuntu-native App made throug quickly easily?

From what I read here:
Install Quickly
We recommend using Python and GTK to create applications for Ubuntu. Quickly will get you up and running with a Python GTK app right away.

There is already a PyGTK example for CEF Python (http://code.google.com/p/cefpython/wiki/PyGTK), so it probably integrates fine, but.. currently CEF Python is supported only on Windows platform. CEF supports linux fine as you can read here:

Linux - CEF has been tested to build successfully on Ubuntu 10.04 32bit, Ubuntu 11.10 64bit, Ubuntu 12.04 64bit and Debian Squeeze 64bit. It should also theoretically build on other 32bit and 64bit versions of Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and openSUSE but your mileage may vary.

So we will definitely have linux support in CEF Python in the future.

Cheers,
Czarek.

The issue that tracks Linux support is here:
Star it if you want it.
