Hi,

I have created a workspace named Java. This workspace is created and I
am able to see the entry in the database.
Now when I try to access that workspace, I am not getting any default
page.
My cctiddly is working fine on localhost and has the URL as "http://
localhost/1.8.5/"
I suppose my Java wokspace needs to be accessed at "http://localhost/
1.8.5/Java" which I am not able to do.
I would like to know
1) How to create a Workspace and what code updation are required(if
any) and where?
2) How to assign the users as Admin of a particular workspace?
3) How to access the workspace?

Also when I am logged in as Admin and try to view the Users through
Options Panel --> users, I am not able to see any other users apart
from admin. What could be the reason for that and any solution that
exists?

Hi,

It sounds like mod_rewrite is disabled. If you cannot enable mod_rewrite you should be able to access the worspace using :

http://localhost/1.8.5?workspace=java

I would like to know
1) How to create a Workspace and what code updation are required(if

Creating a workspace should not need you to change any code unless you want to set up specific permissions.

2) How to assign the users as Admin of a particular workspace?

The user who creates the workspace will automatically be an administrator for the workspace.  That user can then add more admin users from the TiddlyWiki sidebar.

If you don't want to use the TiddlyWiki UI you can always just do it in the database. I think the table is called admin_of_workspace.

3) How to access the workspace?

with mod_rewirte disabled :

http://localhost/1.8.5?workspace=java

Also when I am logged in as Admin and try to view the Users through
Options Panel --> users, I am not able to see any other users apart
from admin. What could be the reason for that and any solution that
exists?

It sounds like admin is the only admin user. The other usernames are not currently listed so you need to know the username that you wish to make an admin.

Hope that helps.  Feel free to bounce back any questions.

Thanks

Simon

Hi,

All is working fine now...
I want some functionality as below..
Suppose there is a "Home" tiddler in the MainMenu. Now what I want is
once I click on Home, all the open tiddlers should get close and just
the Home tiddler should be displayed.
Is that possible? and if yes then how to do that?
Please help..

Thanks

I get that through the breadcrumbs plugin.

Hi nemo,

Could you please elaborate on this?
Where is this plugin present? I am not able to find any or do I have to create it?
What modifications will be needed in that?

Thanks,
NPags

I found it here:
http://www.tiddlytools.com/#BreadcrumbsPlugin

I actually have the following installed from tiddlytools:
# BreadcrumbsCommand
# BreadcrumbsPlugin
# BreadcrumbsPluginInfo
# ToggleBreadcrumbs

Note that the breadcrumbs don't appear till you start navigating
around.
Also: if you visit the wiki via a permalink URL, the 'home' returns
you to the original permalink page
Also: sometimes (and I have no idea why, it might be a local to me bug
- I seem to have a few), it closes all tiddlers and does not open the
defaults. *shrugs*

Anyway, my setup at nemo.house.cx if you want a working example
without the distracting clutter and slowness that I find tiddlytools
has (a great site to find plugins, but best tested in a local
workspace I've found :)

You could also try Eric's SinglePageModePlugin:

Thanks
