I run CC.Net so that I can update the config via source control and
CC.Net monitors that location, if it changes, it updates, and then
CC.Net's own config is under source control. I'm aware that this is a
known and tested method of maintaining CC.Net configurations.

I started using the config-builder stuff (to cut down on stuff in
ccnet.config), and after a bit of testing, I've gotten to work.
However, when I go and update the ccnet.config on another machine
while the ccnet service is running, the web-interface shows the config
properly, but the service doesn't act as though the correct config is
loaded. (exclude filters not working, rest of config for that project
doesn't work properly.)

Is this a known bug, has anyone else experienced this?

This sounds remarkably like the problem Brendan Crosser-McGay posted
to ccnet-user on the 22nd, but then there is a remarkable similarity
in your names!

This does sound like a legitimate bug. I couldn't see anything wrong
in your configuration. I was going to suggest that it could have to do
with case sensitivity issues, or with the double "**" used in one of
the filters, but those are both wild guesses.

Someone will need to investigate. I am unlikely to be the quickest
about it as I don't have Visual Studio at the moment. The best way to
launch the process it to create an issue in the JIRA instance at
http://jira.public.thoughtworks.org/browse/CCNET

Include as much detail as you can, perhaps by linking to these
messages in the google groups archive.

Sorry for the crosspost, I wasn't sure if I should be addressing users or dev with bugs, if you think it might be a bug (even if it's not) I'll report it, I just wasn't sure how you guys work with bug reporting.  Thanks for directing me in the right direction. :)
