Position: Business Analyst with UI Prototyping
Location: Hoboken , NJ
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Summary
Responsibilities
* Gathers and understands business needs, determines, documents, and prioritizes requirements from the business and presents these requirements in a manner that is agreeable, measurable, and flexible
* Manages the organization and documentation of business requirements to ensure the project team develops and implements solutions that meet customer needs and minimize defects prior to implementation
* Assists in the development of functional, conceptual, and logical design specifications
* Schedules, coordinates, and facilitates requirements gathering sessions with the business to identify and drive complete requirements
* Documents requirements and work flow diagrams with focus on process improvements
* Oversees change request processes including facilitating meetings with business and technology teams to assist in timely and quality project completion
* Assists in the development and update of project plans, schedules and estimates
* Works with project management to establish deadlines for completion of project deliverables
* Documents and updates documentation for all internal system application and integration projects including user documentation and developer documentation
* Provides timely responses to all user requests
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Minimum 6 years of experience developing systems for custom applications
* Experience developing in a use case driven environment utilizing Agile Methodologies is required.
* Experience with web application development is required.
* Experience with UI prototyping is required.
* Experience with commercial software development is highly desirable
* Qualified candidates will have experience gathering requirements throughout the full life cycle; and designing and implementing systems
* Excellent and concise analytical and problem solving skills; must be able to learn new concepts quickly
* Experience with Excel, Access database and SQL is highly desirable.
