Position: ORACLE RAC DBA---URGENT NEED.

Location: Providence, RI

Rate: $/hr on C2C

 

·        Assessment Review for a migration to Oracle RAC 11.2.0.3.

·         The consultant will work with the customer to review the components of the RAC architecture and develop a recommended migration path for migration.

·         In addition, the consultant will also review current database monitoring procedures.

·         Sr. Oracle DBA performs complex Oracle database administration assignments essential to the production and development environments.

·         Assignments include installations as well as upgrades and patching of Oracle Standalone and RAC databases.

·         Experience with Oracle 10g and 11g RAC is necessary.

·         Other duties include the ability to work with database analysis, design, and development, security support, and performance monitoring and tuning.

Five (5) years advanced IT experience in the following technical areas:
Oracle RAC DBA, software engineering and system integration.

Experience with the following may be a part of the role:
Performance Tuning, Oracle RAC database, clustered environment set-up, RMAN, backup and recovery.
