NOIFD at FPC, summary report. Halloween party Oct 31!

What a great party we had on September 26 in the superb church hall at FPC!
Most of the dances were ones that Lita has been teaching and reviewing. High
points were the exciting Russian trio dance *Troika*, a high-energy
Bulgarian *Cacak*, and the Greek *Miteritsa*, simple and pure fun for all.
The refreshments were superb. We had mini-muffulettas; a wild rice and pecan

Teaching this Saturday and next

Plan to come for dancing either this Saturday or next. What's the
teaching schedule for those nights? Will the Celtic Fest this weekend
in Jackson mean fewer dancers? Glad there's now dancing on Saturdays --
I miss it here!

The August 29th inaugural of NOIFD, the New Orleans International Folk
Dancers, drew 17 dancers, with four beginners. Reggie and Lita taught.
We all had a great time.

music of Panorama's last CD.
