I didn't know if you had designed a form yet, so I've attached a rough concept form to collect information. Feel free to use it if you choose.

 

 

 We got $100 from Gates. I called them for pricing and they said the best way to go was to simply order meet by the pound, with Brisket/Turkey/Ham/Pork 12.40 lb; we could then buy a bottle of sauce as well. They said this is more economical than ordering their trays because first their trays include ribs and secondly their trays are designed for groups smaller than 8 people. If we go this route, we will need to buy bread from somewhere else, but that still I'm sure is more economical.

 

I plan to be at tomorrow night's meeting, but wanted to get this info to you just in case something comes up.

Hey Mitch,

I've actually got a form going, which I'll probably keep using, but thanks
for the suggestion. I think you're probably right about ordering by the
pound. I think ribs, etc. would be way too messy anyway. We should
probably also get some sides like potato salad, baked beans, etc.

Will you be bringing the Gate's check tomorrow for me to give to Di?

You (or whoever said it) were right about us coordinating our own
volunteers for pick-up, etc. However, I don't know that the whole group
needs to debate how to organize this tomorrow. What I'd like to do is
send a spreadsheet with locations, etc. with 1,2, or 3 people to look at
and determine how many people, what kind of vehicle, etc. need to pick-up
and when for each meal. That'll be my suggestion.

So, I will see you tomorrow!

Sarah, I am not going to make the meeting tonight.  I did not realize the game is tonight. I have tickets to the game. I will bring the check I have to you this afternoon. 

 

Below is my report.

 

I am still working with the bars. I left folders with the bars listed below and continue to followup with them.

 

Sidekicks - Jimmy Tye originally offered to sponsor 2 hotel rooms.  I hope to talk with him again tonight.

NV - left message only with Danny Bright. No one has returned my call.

 

I talked with Lori Burroughs at Balanca's again last night. I think we will get at least $200 from her.  I will pick up the check on Friday. She also wants to attend some of the host meetings.

 

I gave JD Mann and Missy Koonce our requests for Bar Natasha. I will forward you their response to my specific requests.  We will also get $100 from them. That will be available before Sept 15th. They want to sponsor a lunch for either suite.

 

I gave you the $150 from Buddies.  Brenda Dillion and the owner Dan Beets will also provide product from the bar to give away or raffle.

 

I received $250 from Allan Outabounds.  They will also offer a discount to conference attendees who show their badges.

 

I have a promise of at least $100 from 303 in Westport. Jeffery Schmitz and his partner will give that around Sept. 12th.

 

I talked with In and Out (formally Larry's) in Westport.  They suggested they could donate product. I need to followup with them.

 

I talked with the manager at Video Mania in Westport and left a folder with him.  He will need to pass on the folder to the owner. I still need to followup with them.

 

I also gave a folder to Phyllis' Barbershop.
