In future versions is should create all the required sub folders for
you. I may leave in the manual step of creating the uploads folder
just so sys admins know that they are allowing users to upload files
to the server.
You should be able to call the files macro in any tiddler using <<ccFile>>

I managed to get uploads working by creating sub folders, one for each workspace (glad I didn't have so many to make :))
modifying the code below didn't work.
One added thing, a little side issue. Is there a way of making the manage files tiddler so you could open your uploaded files from there?

Hi David,

For 1.7.2, you could maually create a subfolder uploads/ in the
folder, your ccT is installed, to solve the problem encountered.
(for example, C:\xampp\htdocs\wiki\uploads)

or you could modify the code in handle/upload.php, as below,

function makeFolder($path){
if(!file_exists($path)){

Thanks for letting me know David,
The uploaded code needed quite a bit of refactoring before it was
suitable for modules. I started some of the refactoring in 1.7.2.
Yesterday after receiving your mail I continued that refactoring work.

since upgrading to 1.7.2 I have been getting errors when uploading, I get this error (see Below) no matter what file I try and upload. I am not sure if this is a bug with ccTiddly or a problem with my set up. uploads worked fine until I upgraded (except for excel files but i am sure thats a different issue)

Not sure how usable it is. On such case, one would have to include all
the basic tiddlers like systemConfig and others, I'll check it out. I
would really wish for Load on demand, where only Tiddler's title +
tags are available for search / view, and content is loaded on

We have some very basic lazy loading functionality in place. If you
view a workspace specifying a tag in the url : ?tags=simonmcmanus
ccTiddly will only load tiddlers tagged simonmcmanus. We are
currently investigating how to extend this functionality in future

I am going to sit down with Jeremy (The guy who wrote TiddlyWiki) this
week and fix as many of these issues as possible before the 1.7.3
release.
I'm not sure how easy they will be to fix so don't want to make any promises.

Hi Bram,
If you are working out of SVN the ccAdmin macro should now work in IE
and Firefox now. I have been working on it today. I am currently
working on cleaning up the code behind file uploading so there may be
some issue around uploading.

Hi Bram,
I think I have now committed most of the changes you suggested.
Notably I have not made the change to ccAdmin.js. The reason being
that when we use frm.innerHtml any DOM properties are lost after
assigning innerHtml. The result being that the current workspace is
NOT selected in the drop down list.

Thanks for you last few mails, I have not forgotten them!
I am just trying to fix some other issues and then I will catch up
these fixes. I hope to include all your fixes in 1.7.3 which should be
