I'm looking for a speakers for the September meetup and any beyond.  Anything front-end or JavaScript related topic is fair game.

Also, if any TDDers want to run a code kata for the group, let me know.  I don't mind doing it but I don't want to crowd out anyone else who wants to do it either.

Thanks,

Guy,

Sent you an email gauging interest in a talk on Node.js Test Driven Development using Mocha (and Sinon for mocking).  Haven't heard anything so wanted to double check if you had any interest in that topic.  If so, you can sign me up for November.

That sound great.  Consider yourself scheduled.

Thanks,

Has the user group ever done a talk on D3.js? If not I was thinking of putting one together.

Thanks!

You need any speakers at upcoming meetings?  I am putting together a JS Hardware hacks talk that looks at the Beaglebone Black and perhaps the AR Parrot drone and looking for an audience.  I was going to do it at the Node meet up but it think it is a good topic and you guys can support a bigger crowd.

That sounds very cool and up my alley. How long is your talk? I have space for the July 16th meeting. September and beyond is wide open as well.

Thanks,
Guy

I've built a new robot working on some of the JS code from a previous talk & my CodeMash talk. I'd be happy to give an update on that before this talk and bring in the new bot.
Cheers,
Scott

Maybe Scott and Keith could both present in September and we could have a JavaScript Hardware Night or something like that?

Thanks,
Guy

Fine with me, pencil me in, unless you are doing something earlier.

Is there any interest in hacking on the Connect SDK for second screen apps?

Guy, does the AV system at the Forge support DIAL or anything else besides AirPlay (AirPlay is not yet supported by Connect)? If no one has a Chromecast to bring, I can buy one.

Seems like there is good interest in hardware. I'm going to go ahead and schedule a JavaScript Hardware Night for the September meeting. If you want to speak, let me know and I'll make a schedule for the night.

Scott, bring your robot and be prepared to update us.

Keith, I know you'd like do do it earlier but I don't think that is practical as others are already scheduled. if you can make it I would love to have you.

Doug, I have a Chromecast that I can bring if you need it. We could hook it to one of the TVs directly.

Anyone else, bring your stuff and show it off!

I will bring my electronics kit and will be hacking some JS on my RasPi and making lights blink.

Thanks,
Guy
