Hello,

I’ve downloaded the attached clinical annotation file from Barry Taylor’s paper.  This data is utilized by your website to derive survival curves.  Can you tell me what columns are used for your KM survival plots?  If months disease free is equal to months survival is it not used in your survival plot?  Are only samples with a “BCR_Algorithm” value in the BCR_Event (column AB) used in survival plots?

    thanks,

Dear Armand,

The Portal uses the BCR (biochemical recurrence) data for survival analysis, so only the columns labeled BCR_FreeTime and BCR_Event (AA and AB).

Niki.

Thanks for your response Niki!

Does biochemical occurrence require that the BCR_Event (col AB) contain a “BCR_Algorithm” value?

Thanks,

Armand

Yes... NO means that the patient has not recurred (last follow up is listed in column AA), and an entry of "BCR_Algorithm" indicates that the patient has recurred at the time point specified in column AA.

Niki.
