Estimated is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed procurement
listed herein is set-aside for Labor Surplus Area concerns. Each
invitation for Bid must be requested in writing. Bid opening is at
2:00 P.M. (local time) 12 September 1996 in the Contracting Office,
Room 211A, Administration Building at the USCG TRACEN Cape May,
N.J. 08204. A pre-bid conference will be held on 29 August 1996 at
2:00 P.M. (local time) at the same location. The following
information is provided for minority, women and disadvantaged
business enterprises: The DOT has a short term bonding program
available which enables firms to obtain bid, payment, and
performance bonds, up to 80 percent of the bond amount and a short
term loan program to provide working capital at the prime interest
rate. In addition, through the Historically Black Colleges and
University Program, firms can receive comprehensive services and
