furnishing all labor, material, equipment, transportation,
supervision, and management necessary for restriping road
centerlines, edgelines, stop/yield bars, crosswalks and incidental
related work. This project is being solicited under simplified
acquisition procedures. The solicitation is unrestricted and open
to all interested firms. The estimated cost range is between
$25,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Code is 1721. For
purposes of completing the Representations and Certifications
issued with the specification, any concern submitting a bid is
classified as ``small'' if its annual receipts for its preceding
three fiscal years do not exceed $7,000,000. Bid and Performance
Bonds are not required; however, a Payment Bond will be required
after award as specified in the solicitation. Quotes are due 03 Sep
1996 at Close of Business, 4:30 P.M., Local Time. This is not a
public bid opening. Request for the solicitation may be made by
requesting Request for Quotation N62474-96-Q-6949 in writing or
they may be picked up in person from the Resident Officer in Charge
of Construction, 751 Enterprise Avenue at the Naval Air Station,
Lemoore, California. A Fax request is acceptable. Fax Number is
(209) 998-3906. There is no charge for plans and specification;
however, only one set per firm will be issued in a first-come
first-serve basis. Inquiries regarding technical clarifications
must be submitted in writing to Fax Number (209) 998-3906.
Telephone inquiries/requests will not be honored. Tentative issue
date is 13 Aug 1996. Site visits may be made by calling (209)
998-3840 at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled site visit.
This is a firm fixed price contract. Performance time is 60
