DTRS57-96-Q-80096 DUE 031396 POC Orin D. Cook, Contracting Officer,
(617) 494-2593. The Volpe Center plans to solicite a sole-source,
for a simplified acquisition, an unrestricted procurement from the
Hughes Aircraft Corporation for the following services: develop,
integrate, demonstrate and evaluate under airport conditions a
fully functional two sensor ASTRAS subsystem. The subsystem will be
configured using existing, non-developmental (NDI) 77 Ghz
radar/sensors integrated with a VHF data link modem and computer
base digital map on which would be overlaid the radar target
information. Small Business firms interested in proposing on this
requirement must notify the Contracting Officer in writing no later
than 15 days from date of publication. NOTE 22 FOR SOLE SOURCE
