Just wanted to toss out a suggestion to use something like Google Plus
Communities instead of Google Groups (not that I don't like Google Groups
of course!). The community would allow you to post pictures, URL's, and
other items in posts, and track events and attendees in a separate area.
Events can even be live-streamed using Google Hangouts.

Pangea Payments is looking to bring on a Full Time iOS developer (Android experience a plus) to build out their product which plays in the half trillion (with a T) dollar money transfer biz. They're currently based out of 1871 and plan to stay downtown when they leave that space. This is a work on-site position. Regarding compensation: "it can be expected that salary will be slightly under market, with an equity component." Finally, Pangea is actually one of my clients (i built a prototype for them) and i can personally vouch for the fact that they are very bright and are great to work for.

Has anyone taken a look at
KYCircleMenu<[link]>over
at Cocoa Controls? I would love to use this, but unfortunately I lack
the understanding of everything that is happening behind the scenes to do
so. Has anyone by chance already done this? Or willing to work me on

[Job] Full Time iOS and Mobile Web Downtown

Three of three. This one is to build traffic and location based apps for a company downtown (if you've been looking around for the last few months, you've probably come across them). Regarding compensation, i was told: "we would be looking at around 105k+bonus for this senior mobile app developer position" which is definitely in range for a reasonably experienced iOS dev. This one is also onsite. You know the drill; email me to get in touch.

[Job] Full time E-commerce Gig in the Western Suburbs

Two of three. This is with a "well funded" company looking for "the best and brightest" candidates (and are happy to pay market rates for them.) The job involves building apps that let people interact with their systems in the real world (think apps that let folks use pricing, inventory, scheduling information in the field). This will be onsite in the western suburbs but there may be opportunities to work remotely in the future. Get in touch to get in touch.

[Job] Long term iOS and/or Android Contract, Downtown

Good evening everyone, here's one of three. A large bank downtown that's a java shop wants someone who's strong in either iOS or Android to work on both internal and consumer grade apps. While there may be a chance to work remotely in the future, you should think of this as an onsite gig. Finally, like so many they're looking for someone with good experience, but are offering a hair over $80/hour via w2. I always say (and believe) not to be shy; if you have a lot of experience then go in with your rate. Similarly if you're just starting out (or coming from some other technology) then this could be a good position to gun for. Email me off-list to get in touch and as always i'm happy to make introductions.

Crash reporting recommendations

How does everyone handle crash reporting for their apps? From what I've
read the iTunes Connect is only marginally helpful since it requires users
to sync with their iTunes accounts to upload the crash reports. I know
their are other ones out there but I was wondering which ones other folks
find most useful?
