Add company does not match exact company name?

Hi,

How to ensure we do not add duplicate company name in CATS using add_company API?

For example, in CATS I have a company name 'Deepali five'. But when I try to add a new company with the name 'Deepali' it returns and error saying duplicate record.

I believe the internal generated query searches on widlcard 'Deepali*' which is incorrect.

How could I fix this?

That is how the duplicate checking works for companies. When in CATS there is the option to ignore the duplicate warning, but unfortunately the API does not currently provide that option.
