Which features are more important?
|
| |
I'm not sure if there is anyone who checks this discussion board, but
I'll post this anyway.
Due to the persistent problem with RubyCocoa and unclear future of it
(it is just maintained, not developed), I decided to rewrite
CasualConc with MacRuby. MacRuby itself is still under development
and has some performance issues, so this new version won't be out for... more »

Impressive work on Mac OS X concordancer
|
| |
Dear Imao I'm very impressed with the work that you have done on a Mac OS X compatible concordance program, and I would be very interested in beta testing it next year with my MA students, from January to May. I haven't downloaded the software yet, but will do tonight. I'll also be exploring it's use for my own research on a corpus of classroom talk.... more »

What are the necessary features for a parallel concordancer
|
| |

considering adding xml handling function to CasualConc if anyone is... more »

and I'm impressed by what you're doing.
I have been using concordancing as an approach to demonstrating
language patterns in academic writing for international students. I
work on Mac (mostly) when preparing material, but have to do most... more »

How does this work?
|
| |
I just want to experiment with Google Groups as a possible discussion
forum for users of CasualConc. I don't know how many people will use
it, but I just wanted to create a place to discuss it or leave comment
rather than email me.
I'll see how this works and see if anyone tries to post any comment.... more »
