Transferring an object between Actions

Hey guys

What's the best way to transfer an object from an Action to another?
I'm currently using Flash, but I suppose it wasn't made for this purpose.

Yes..I'm using an Action as a method...at the end of it I have:

RedirectToAction("retrieve");

retrieve is an Action with a view and everything

I want to transfer an object from this "method" to the Action
"retrieve".

Flash works fine...but I'd like to know if there's anything like the
$global_variable or the @@class_variable that Ruby on Rails has.
