doco site via stw

Hi,

I remember Henry has set up at some point (over a year ago) a 301
redirect from all http://stw.castleproject.org to corresponding
http://docs.castleproject.org

What was the reason it was removed? Now we have two active addresses for
our doco and this impacts our visibility in Google (by fragmentation and
Google penalizes sites that are duplicates of each other).

301 is Permanent redirection, it is not penalized by Google... indeed that is the way you should treat your pages/site if you are moving to a new domain/link structure.

I think that was a temporary change and would be safe to remove stw now.

There's plenty off links on the internet to stw.I don't think it would be wise to delete it.I just want to bring back the 301

Maybe it fell apart when we moved content from the old server to the new one.
