Shouldn't the token colors appear on the fonts & colors options dialog?

Yes, they should. For me it works in VS2008 but no in VS2005. Is it not working in 2005 for you?

It's not working on vs2008 for me. I tried devenv.exe /ResetSettings

I'll take a look on the weekend. Not sure why it sometimes works and other times doesn't.

Someone on the MSDN forum has told me that if you delete the entire 'Cache' key it forces VS to rebuild its font and colors cache. Deleting this key fixed my VS2005 that wasn't working before.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\FontAndColors\Cache

I'll put a fix into the installer once I work out for sure how the cache should be reset.

Thanks, I'll try that

I am getting similar explosive memory usage and VS lockup issues that
I was experiencing with CVSI 0.2 in VS2005 using the latest version in
VS2008. I've commented on the original issue I logged but wondering
if anyone else is seeing strange memory / cpu usage patterns with CVSI
installed into VS2008?

Deleting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio
\9.0\FontAndColors\Cache and restarting VS2008 fixed the issue of the
missing NVelocity elements in the Fonts and Colors dialog.

As with all registry edits, be careful and YMMV =)

Yes, others have had similar issues. I haven't had a chance to really look into it. If you know what NVelocity syntax or have a template that causes it that I can have a copy of I will have a much better chance at finding the problem.

That is exactly what I haven't put in the MSI. I was hoping to get a response from Microsoft about the best way to clear the cache. But haven't received a response yet.

Sorry for taking so long to get this fixed.

I have released v0.3.1 that should fix this issue:
