Dear All,

I have faced with big problem for testing ZigBee with other WSN protocols such as TMAC with LEACH or SMAC with LEACH or ADOV.  I just wanted to see how well zigbee will perform in large WSN networks let say 100 nodes, I have used the following configuration :

Castalia -c 100Nodes,ZigBeeMAC.

This is what I have got from running above configuartion:

Castalia| what:21Nodes,ZigBeeMAC (1)
Castalia| when:2012-05-26 20:35
Castalia| label:21Nodes,ZigBeeMAC
Assigned runID=General-0-20120526-20:35:34-2253
Setting up network `SN'...

End.

I have attached my  ini file as well to have a look.  PLEASE I can not go any  further steps before fixing this problems.

Please any one could tell me why I got this problem ?
Any help is appreciated.
Best,

Dear All,

I have solved the below problem, there was problem with Radio file parameter.

As we all know BridgeTest was designed to test Structural health monitoring for the bridge with different sizes using two MAC protocols which are TMAC and SMAC with out any routing protocols, that was why the result from that application was not interesting.

Now, what I want to do is to test the performance of the simulating LEACH with SMAC or TMAC comparing to ZigBee using BridgeTest scenario to have more interesting results.   What I need to ask is please could you tell me if BridgeTest is the good application to be used for testing  LEACH protocol using TMAC or SMAC  with ZigBee or even with other routing protocols let say with AODV?   if not which application could be used to compare LEACH with Zigbee ?

I appreciate your help in advance.

Regards,
Muhsin

Hi,
MAYBE the problem is tha CC2420 accept SN.node[*].Communication.MAC.phyDataRate = 250. Check it on your omnetpp.INI file.

I only set the phyDataRate = 250 in .ini file and it solved above mentioned problem in my simulation.
