Any participant in CASCON, particularly those who have a poster/exhibit and want to show their demo to a bigger audience. |
CasconCamp is a is an informal meeting where a succession of presenters
demonstrate their work in front of an audience. Emphasis is put more on
working code and technical details but less on PowerPoint slides
which are BANNED!. Emphasis is also on social interaction; half of the
presentation time is devoted to interaction and questions. This is an
ideal venue for sampling some demos before going to visit their
associated exhibits at the CASCON Technology Showcase.
Exhibitors or others interested in presenting their work at CasconCamp, can get more information and register directly on the wiki page or ask for more information by joining the discussion list at http://groups.google.com/group/casconcamp.
There is only two rules for presenters:
- Rule #1: No powerpoints allowed. Why no .ppt? Well, do you have working software or don't you.
- Rule #2: Demos are not a second over 10 minutes each, questions included. Plan for a 5 min. demo.
