Hi,

I've read that this is possible but I haven't found the doc.
Can anyone point me to the doc or any example?

It's not possible yet - someone needs to step up to help with the Storm planner implementation. I'd love to coach anyone through this who's interested. I'd also be open to consulting on it, if someone needs it right away.

Cascading has announced the Support for Apache Storm in v 3.0 (http://www.infoq.com/news/2014/05/driven).
Would this make the integration easier or what you are thinking is fundamentally different?
In other words: we rather be waiting for Cascading 3.0 or what you are planning is better/different?

Yeah, Storm integration can be achieved with a custom Cascalog planner. We don't need to wait for Cacading, we just need a volunteer who's excited and has about a week to learn the existing codebase and write the planner with me. I'm happy to help, I'm just too busy to do it alone (and won't be using Storm myself for a while).
