  I&#39;m posting this here in hopes that someone might be able to steer us in &lt;br&gt; the right direction. We have a Cascalog process that we&#39;re using &lt;br&gt; Spring-Hadoop &amp;amp; Spring-Batch to send to a remote Hadoop cluster. It seems &lt;br&gt; as though Spring-Hadoop is doing something funky with the &lt;br&gt; classpath/classloader and we&#39;re getting the following exception when we run

  good question. how about we tag our name on the section that we want to &lt;br&gt; work on in the google doc before drafts, and then push often to the github &lt;br&gt; repo as we fill in content?

  I run thrift 0.8.0 on EMR with the latest AMI 2.3.5, however I am using &lt;br&gt; MapR M3 edition, not the standard apache/amazon hadoop distro.
