Subject: scald.rb hdfs mode question

Hi all,

I am trying to run the tutorial on hdfs mode, the job is rsynced into the
remote server but the hadoop is not in my path because ssh -t -C in my
server stripes all environment parameters.   I can probably add the
environment variables such as HADOOP_HOME, HADOOP_CONF_DIR, JAVA_HOME, and
the related PATH information as part of the command that is executed by the
ssh command.  I am wondering what is other people's solution on this?

thanks,

Felix

my solution is to put hadoop in my path.  :)

But we will accept a patch to scald.rb (please make the pull request to
develop).
