2) New Family via Amnesty in Cary - Assistance Needed
Family from Iraq new to American in Cary - Volunteer planning meeting
at 8pm Friday July 18th.
There's a new family from Iraq that will be arriving in Cary shortly
via an Amnesty program. They are starting from scratch and can use
your help.
Any thing you can donate would be beneficial from furniture, dishes,
pots. Even your time would be a great benefit as these people would
not to get assimilated to the community, groceries, halal meat,
location of masajids, etc.
For this reason, a meeting at 8pm on Friday July 18th will be held at
the Cary Masjid. For further information, please contact Brother

3) A reminder that there is less than one month left until the Annual
Quiz Competition. Register your child if you have not already.
Contact Br. Sarfaraz Qazi for books. Start studying if you have not
already.
4) The new masjid status was given in detail before Juma'a Khutbah.
In short we are having the internal architectural design prepared,
then will be forwarded to various contractors (electrical, mechanial,
construction, etc) for approval. Inshallah by September we hope to
submit this to the Town of Cary.
Separately we hope to have a Qibla determination scheduled to
officially find the proper direction of the Qibla from that site.

Note: A friendly reminder that we have weekly Dars-e-Quran by the Imam
Razvi on Thursdays after Maghrib and weekly Quranic Tajweed and
Memorization lessons by Hafiz Amir Qasmi on Wednesdays after Maghrib.
