1) Iqama Times:

2) Tuesday night of July 29th is the night of 27th of Rajab - the
Night of Isra & Meraaj (Heavenly Ascension) of our beloved Prophet
Salallahu Alayhi Wasalam.  The Cary Masjid has the following activites
planned for Nafil Ibadath:

- 8:30pm Maghrib
- After Maghrib a brief talk about the significance of this night
- Individual Ibadath
- 10:15pm Isha Salath
- 11:00pm Salatul-Tasbeeh
- 12:30am Zikr of Allah
- 3:30am Khayyum-ul-Lail / Tahajjud
- Suhoor / Sehri
- Fajr salath

Inshallah the masjid will be open all night.  Bring your sleeping bags
if you like.  It's summer vacation so bring your kids as well so they
too can learn the importance of this blessed night.  For special

3) Quiz Competition Info:
If Brother Sarfaraz Qazi is unavailable, you can turn in the
registration forms and pickup the study material at the Olive Green
Restaurant.  Registration deadline is August 2nd.  Contest is on
August 16th.  Forms are available on the website.

4) The Refugee Iraqi family arrived on Wednesday.  Brother Abdul
Hameed's, the father, family consists of his wife, 17 year old
daughter, and 2 younger sons.  The are living close to the masjid and
please welcome them when you see them.  If you would like to offer any
assistance (Transportation to groceries, time to familiarize them with
the city, etc) please contact the masjid.

We would also like to thank the brothers and sisters in the community
who have done a tremendous job in preparing the home, donating &
moving furniture, providing cooked meals, etc.  May Allah accept all
your efforts.

5) Sunday School will be starting on August 24th.  There will be a
Parent Orientation meeting on Sunday August 17th for which all parents
are required to attend.  Registration forms are on the website.
