py-amqplib devel support

Hi,

I was wondering if there were any plans on supporting py-amqplib devel
which offers a few extra features such as

* some multi-threading support
* a timeout to the channel.wait() method

The later one is particularly important since as it stands, it is
really hard to cancel a consumer as it blocks into wait.

Not as of now. But if you want to add support for it, I will merge it
in.

I've been thinking of adding support for non-blocking as well, but the
only way to do it is kind of hackish still.

Find attached a patch that enables support for the timeout feature of
py-ampqlib-devel.

This preserves backward compatibility AFAIK.
