Today we are pleased to announce the release of CarrierClass.net
Management System release 2.0 beta 1. This release is the first one to
have been ran through a known list of tests in order to assess the
different components. Known issues are listed below.

This beta release will be the last release before the first production
deployment of CarrierClass.net, which will happen over the coming
weeks. An updated beta release will be posted after that deployment
has been completed, in order to integrate all the fixes added during
that time. We strongly invite you to test the Beta 1 release and
report issues as well.

I do know that the installation documentation is weak and that you may
require help to bring the system up (mostly because of the sheer
number of packages required to get the whole system working). We will
have a complete distribution available by the summer; currently we are
focusing on stability, features, and supporting our first deployment,
and haven't had time to work on documentation as much as we would
like. Until we are able to provide better documentation and a complete
distribution, please contact me directly with any question.
