Subject: CarrierClass.net update
Hello,

You may have noticed we released version 2.0 Beta 3 last week. This
version was posted after we completed our internal testing, which had
been delayed by about a week due to commitments with customers. This
version addresses issues related to voicemail synchronization,
allowing us to finally deliver operational, clustered and scalable
voicemail. This version was also tested for PSTN inbound and outbound
with the Gafachi service.

For whose of you in an "enterprise" setting, this version also offers
tested, working E.911 support for the enterprise / higher-education /
government environments. CarrierClass.net  offers dynamic ELIN
allocation, and assignment of Emergency Routing Locations (ERL) based
on IP subnet, device pool, or device MAC address. Hooks are also
present for integration with an external device tracker; if some of
you are looking for this functionality, we have been in contact with
RedSky Networks, who are interested in partnering with
CarrierClass.net to meet this kind of requirements.

On the Service Provider side, we started working on completion of
interoperability with Level3's SIP solution; the process will likely
take many weeks. As part of the interoperability testing, we will
implement the NENA i2 (Interim VoIP Architecture for Enhanced 9-1-1
Services) interfaces for v2 (VPC) and v4 (ESGW) integration, and tie
them up with our existing E.911 line-side solution.

These emergency components, whether on the enterprise or the service
provider side, are unique in the Open Source world, and, like the rest
of the CarrierClass.net Management system, will be available under the
GNU General Public License .

Thank you for your continued support of CarrierClass.net. Feel free to
send me an email should you have any question!
Sincerely,
Stéphane Alnet

merely indicates what operators or companies we have been working
