Hello,
Just wanted to give you a quick update on CarrierClass.net.
We successfully completed Level3 interop testing last week for our
first customer. This brought home some insights about SIP UNI vs NNI
which I'll try to integrate in future versions. On the E.911 side,
there was a change in provider, so I will not be implementing the i2
interfaces (that will teach me to pre-announce things!). So I guess
that makes one good news and one small bad news.
I migrated the code repository to Google Code so that I could benefit
from their SVN infrastructure and start keeping the code under
revision. The CarrierClass "trunk" code is at:
http://code.google.com/p/carrierclass/source
I also started work on a distribution for CarrierClass.net. Since
there are still a lot of back-end changes that need to happen before
2.1 is usable, for now the installer does just that -- install the
required packages on a system. If you are interested, read the wiki
page on that topic at
http://code.google.com/p/carrierclass/wiki/AlphaInstaller
That's about it. There have been a lot of changes on the back-end
already, but I need to complete all the changes before we can actually
start using the web front-end, so this will have to wait a few more
weeks. I probably won't be sending any updates until then, but feel
free to contact me with any questions.
Stéphane Alnet
PS: I'm still looking for a business partner to expand
CarrierClass.net, let me know if you are interested or have any ideas.
