Friends of the Beechview Library Customer Appreciation Day Book Sale/Author Event with special guest Brian O’Neill!

The Friends annual Customer Appreciation Day and Book Sale will take place on Saturday, November 7^th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh-Beechview Library, 1910 Broadway Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. All are invited to stop in for refreshments and to browse the book sale.

At 1:00 pm, Brian O’Neill, award-winning columnist for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, will sign copies of his new book, being released November 15^th, “The Paris of Appalachia: Pittsburgh in the 21^st Century”. The books will cost $17.00 including tax. Brian will donate $5.00 for each book sold to help save the Beechview Library. Please stop by to purchase a book, say hello and thank him for supporting our cause.

New this year is the Members Only Preview Sale at 9:30am before the doors open for the regular book sale hours.

Donations of “gently used” books will be accepted at the library until November 5^th. For more information, please call the library at 412-563-2900.
