Stopping Sewage in Our Rivers Presentation at Carrick Community Council Wednesday

On Wednesday, Tom Hoffman will be talking to the Council about how a green solution to the problem of sewage in our rivers can be a big win win for communities.  Tom is with Clean Water Action and representing the Clean Rivers Campaign.  A green solution to the federally mandated ALCOSAN sewer fix can ALSO create jobs for local residents, raise property values, revitalize business districts and help clean the air.  The Clean Rivers Campaign will be holding a workshop on May 23 at 7:00 at the Fairhaven United Methodist Church.
